Rock your veggies! Nat's Runbit #18

Upped the time on the bike today to 70 minutes! Feeling good :)

What to do for 70 minutes on a stationary bike? (besides grumble about the fact that you'd rather be running?)

Read my newest book for book club - Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty.
Pretty engaging and juicy reading (The crazy things that happen in an Australian suburb!) = time flies by on the bike. A win for me, as this is the only time I have to read it! :)

The Runbit that I wanted to share today is a delicious (I think it is, but we'll discuss that more in a bit)
super healthy veggie drink. Its easy and great for you!

Ingredients:

- 2 green apples, halved

- 4 stalks celery, leaves removed

- 1 cucumber

- 6 leaves kale (I chopped the kale into smaller bits)

- 1/2 lemon, peeled

- 1 (1 inch) piece ginger

Process all the ingredients through your juicer.

And for a treat (you deserve it), put it in a fun glass!
I was having an ole' moment and choose a margarita glass.
Oh and I found the recipe here .

ENJOY!

So, I loved it. If you don't like ginger this may not be for you. Or if you don't like ginger, you can suck it up and drink it anyway cause it's good for you. :)
I made one for J and initially he thought it was too gingery, but as he got over the shock, he liked it. :)
Another idea is you can add less ginger.

Just a quick Runbit today everyone!

Have a happy Tuesday and run like the wind!

What book (s) are you currently reading?

Happiness Is Running Life!

Natalie
