Welcome to NatRunsFar! I'm Natalie and I have had a passion for running for the majority of my life.
I started running with my parents at the age of seven in a local park and trails near our home and haven't stopped. My Dad was a huge influence in my running, as he would run 14 miles to work several times a week and I loved hearing about his adventures along the way. He taught me that with hard work and dedication, you can achieve anything.

I ran cross country and track in high school and college and truly loved the competitive side of running along with the incredible way it made me feel.
After college, I started running marathons and triathlons and realized that my most successful running days were straight in front of me - if I have the courage to dream big.

Nine marathons later (+ countless half marathons, 5ks and 10ks.), I am solidly carving my way each day to become a better, faster runner.

I am Mom to three young kiddos (ages 4, 7 and 10) and married to my best friend. We have a crazy busy life filled with joy, travel, adventure and every day life.

On a November night in 2014, shortly after putting our kids to bed, my husband suggested that I start a running blog to share my passion and knowledge with others. Although I have always loved to write, I couldn't imagine starting a blog. Three years later, it is an amazing journey and I love it - writing and sharing about running.

Join me as I put it all together: Mom, marathoner, writer and fitness enthusiast.

You'll find race recaps, glimpses into training, healthy recipes, workout ideas and more.

On my blog, my hope is that you'll be inspired to live a healthy, athletic, and adventurous life!

I also write for Women's Running Magazine. It gives me a lot of joy to write about the sport of running... you can find it all HERE.

I love hearing from readers!
