Weekend Recap!

Happy March 1st!!
So many reasons to be happy about March:

1. Spring starts in 19 days
2. Spring break is coming
3. We get to totally deck out in green in 16 days!! :)

Let's look back at the weekend... here we go!

Thursday

Took my girls to the happiest place on earth for a half day visit...

And we had a lot of Frozen fun and a wonderful afternoon!

Friday

Our view on the way home from school (those clouds!!),  and I had to pull over on the side of the road to take a picture...

Saturday

A great day in the outdoors!!

Hiking and climbing trees...

Someday soon SBG will be able to catch up during a race! And by the way, she picked out her own clothes today - she thought a three tired skirt would be lovely over her pants. Already a sense of style ;0

Finding a beetle on the trail is always cool...

20 push ups in a set = a new record for me!

We decided to have "brinner" for the evening meal. And I realized that my kiddos like these particular veggies cold (with hummus!) instead of sauteed. Lesson learned for next time.

Sunday

I got to go to brunch with my amazing, beautiful friends (we've known each other since college!) to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday!

And then the sky opened up and started - as my daughter likes to say - "peeing from the sky"!

There was even a bit of hail going on!! So thankful for the rain because we are in a drought and Desperately. Need. Rain.

And at the end of the evening, Jerold brought these from the store for me...

And I immediately put them in the freezer for 30 minutes, because I like them COLD! :)

I also was on the #bqchat tonight on Twitter. Has anyone done this chat? It is so fun, you should jump in sometime!! Sundays at 9 PM (EST).
Here is one of the questions we had to answer...

During a marathon training cycle, I log between 50-55 miles a week at my peak. I manage with a lot of sleep, lots of healthy food and massages!
For my next cycle, I will also have a very good amount of cross training, core work and weight training too!

How many miles per week do you log during marathon training and how do you manage it?

Hope you all had a great weekend!!!

Happiness Is Running Life!

Natalie
