Weekend Update!

I put on a white skirt today and hesitated for a moment. Then it really hit me - Memorial Day has come and gone and it is really okay to break out all of my summer whites!

How are you today?!

Yesterday, was my Meatless Monday post, so today let's catch up on the weekend activities, shall we?

Every day is full of PT exercises and Thursday was one of those days! I did exercises on my own, then I went to PT, and later in the afternoon - more exercises :)
I really feel like the range of motion is slowly coming back in my knee. I have a whole list of exercises and I feel pretty sore the next day. Progress is good!

Friday, I finally purchased Meb's book and it was a nice way to end the day. Such a great read!

Saturday was an awesome salad and a fun lunch date with friends...

And that night I made a super delicious fruit bowl for dessert. I posted the pic on Instagram and it was one of the highlights of my day...

Sunday was filled with wonderful family time and another great salad...

Monday was busy, but SBG and I carved out some time just for us (and made play dough!)...

It seems as if she was this wee one in my arms just yesterday, and now she is a little girl - walking, full on talking, has serious opinions and loves life.
She is going to preschool in the fall and I am already sad. 4 hours a day she'll be gone, and I know it'll be so wonderful for her, but I am madly in love with this little person.
I am soaking in every drop of her goodness. Did I feel this way with Josh and Megan? I think back and realize that I absolutely did and yet it seems more powerful now because there will be no more babies. There are zero babies in our house and that feels great, yet I don't want any of these precious ones to grow up too fast.
So, we played with play dough...

And we laughed and goofed around...

And it was a perfect Monday. And a perfect way to start the glorious month of June.

That night Jerold brought an ice cream sandwich for me from my favorite ice cream shop...

Chocolate chip cookie dough + coffee toffee in between two chocolate chip cookies. Can we say splurge heaven?

I started reading a wonderful new devotional book and I am super inspired by it....

There is a devotion for every day of the year. I started at June 1st and couldn't help but read ahead as the author talks about running her first marathon and the feelings that she had about it. Good stuff.

I hope you have an amazing Tuesday!! Go run - run fast (unless it's a recovery day of course!), run happy.
Get Your Run On!!

What are you having for dinner tonight?

Do you use a crock pot?

How many miles are you running today?

Happiness Is Running Life!

Natalie
