Marathoner Tee Morgan runs #Likeagirl - 7 marathons, 7 continents, 7 days!

Today marks 8 weeks of zero running and I have been finding plenty of ways to keep myself busy:

1. Cross Training (pool running, stationary biking, core work, yoga, pilates and hiking).

2. Reading about other runner's training motivates me to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

3. Being inspired by runners doing amazing things!

Talk about amazing!

Tee Morgan is amazing, inspiring and brave.

On February 8th, Tee will start the incredible journey of the Triple 7 Quest!
This amazing feat is 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days.
WOW.

Tee is a member of the National Black Marathoners Association (a non profit organization) and is asking for donations that will go directly to fund scholarships for high school girls and boys distance running. How awesome is that?!

Tee is a full time working mother of four and only started running three years ago. She has since run an astonishing 27 marathons (four marathons in the month of January as part of her training!) and is in the best shape of her life.
What is so incredible, is that Tee has run 7 marathons on 7 continents before and she completed that challenge in one year.
Now in 4 days, Tee will become the first black woman to complete the Triple 7 Challenge!

Her journey started as a desire to become fit and healthy, as she once weighed 266 pounds.

Look at her now...

You can go to Tee's Facebook page HERE to learn more and you can visit the National Black Marathoners Association HERE to make a donation.

Check out this video of Tee's core workout to prepare herself for multiple marathons!

How should a runner prepare to safely run back to back marathons?
Runner's Connect has some great advice HERE

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions and wishing you the best of luck in your journey Tee!
I'll be following along and cheering for you!

For those reading this - how many marathons have you done in a month? a year?
I have never done more than one marathon per year, but I think it is amazing that people can do so many!

Would you ever do back to back marathons?
